Both Human's Lib and Dream Into Action are being released in Nov. to coincide with the show where Howard will play both albums in full. No track listing has been confirmed but i'm guessing they'll be 2 disc versions. Go check his official website under the forums column ! Yeahhhhh !

That is finally good to know.. Did he buy his masters from the label? Are these being put out on his own label or the record company?

I know that some time back he was talking about getting rights to his catalogue from WEA. His cds will be sold thru his website which probably means his own label.

It looks as if Howard Jones is involved.

I am looking forward to these releases.

He writes great music.

"Life in One Day" is a joy.

I think that it is only speculation.

I think the fact that Howard Jones is involved and the word "re-master" is being used leaves me hopeful that a good job will be done.

The way that concerts are being planned around the release is a good sign.

The covers on the website are originals - Is he bringing them out independently?

Just another comment on Howard Jones - In my openion - he was under-rated.

His Live Aid proformance with the Piano was class.

There is no tracklistings out for these albums yet.

But there is an interesting comment on the Howard Jones forum:

According to Robbie's twitter (http://twitter.com/robbiebronniman), he's remastering the Dream Into Action album today.

Also looking at Steve Cripps twitter (he designed all the 25th Anniversary Concert stuff and the website design), he's currently remastering the artwork, his latest twitter said that he's just got his hands on the original front cover artwork for Dream Into Action.

I'm guessing the tracklisting is near enough complete so that the artwork can be done. Let's hope that the tracklisting is announced soon!!

That's really fucked up . So i guess in 2011 we'll probably see all those glorious 12" mixes ?

I totally agree guys...why bother even putting them out, unless you've added bonus tracks, or 12" mixes/etc? kinda pointless.

rather disappointing tracklist for both albums... as many others, I had hoped for 2cd sets (like the recent A-Ha ones or similar).
what seems pretty strange, why the live extra disc is just a cd and not a dvd, especially as Oxford Road Show was a tv programme + the visuals surely should have survived as well...

He knows that he can make more money by making this an additional release with all his 12 mixes spread out over discs. He probably had to buy his masters so maybe he's trying to make the money back with the releases.

well, it's actually also an easy way to make LESS money. Simple as this--in this economy, no one who already has the CDs is going to rebuy the same exact CDs unless they are obsessed with remastering (or simply an HJ fanatic), so most people will buy JUST the 12" mix CDs.

That's a very good point.
