Thanks for the post. I don't know if there will be any new mixes, but "Rage Hard" and "Warriors Of The Wasteland" are two of my very favorite Frankie tracks.

Most of the mixes for these two tracks appeared on the excellent "Twelve Inches" set. I'd like to see special DJ edits, unreleased mixes and alternate versions.

"young person's guide to 12 inch" is still not out full-length, is it? i love that mix. maybe it is...
oh! and all the "wildlife" versions would be great- those were gorgeous, with the string sections-

The full version is on the CD single and also appears on Back To The 80's - The Long Versions 2 not the easiest CD's to pick up to be honest and that Back To The 80's goes for about £40 normally. It was really annoying buying Reload at the time to find that they had faded the ending and i'm positive they used that edit for that Japanese box set Return To The Pleasuredome as well.

Not familiar w/this FGTH release....gang, is it good enough to warrant me picking it up? I have that 12" mixes 2 cd set as well, it's pretty cool.
Cant seem to find that "back to the 80s...the long versions" box set, it's always a little too much for me to spend. Howefer, is it owrth it to pick up eventually? any hard to find/rare/oop mixes you cant get anywhere else on it? surprised they didnt try to release a second version?

I have one of the BTT80s volumes. Its a german release I think. Most of the songs I already had.Anyway I hope that this Liverpool release is going to better than those Reportoire remasters from some years ago. A lot of those FGTH cds were too loud.

FGTH were superior to a lot of bands from the 80s when it came to production and technology. Both WTTPD and Liverpool were standouts of that era. I think Liverpool didn't get the success it deserved just because of internal turmoil and bad promotion.

Wow. Liverpool is definitely on my list. Everything on Salvo/ZTT is great. A Lot of this will probably make it's cd debut here. Just hope that if there's any vinyl transfers they're really good.

Hi Omar,
I'm glad to say all the tracks are taken from the original masters as Propaganda & Welcome To Ther Pleasuredome were.
The difference between the ZTT/Salvo releases compared to the awful Cherry Pop / Cherry Red reissues is down to one thing.
One guy having access to the ZTT vault & giving a S**t about it !!

Does anyone know how much Trevor Horn and Steve Lipson are involved with theses cds. Do they decide what's to be re-issued and what mixes are to be used ?

To my knowledge neither has any input other than to open the doors of the vault !
