The Jam - Sound Affects 2 CD
Posted: Tue Nov 16, 2010 10:46 amI just got this CD yesterday, and I'm blown away. I don't know if I've seen or heard a more perfect remastering job. There is absolutely no compression, no awful attempts at tape hiss reduction, and it has had the EQ-ing properly adjusted from the previous mid-range heavy remaster from 2000.
The set was remastered by someone named Tibor Pesci. I've never heard of him before but he's my new (5 o'clock) hero. If he's a newcomer to the Universal mastering team, and if he keeps kicking out products of this amazing quality, then he will be an asset to audiophiles the world over. Buy this set. It's beyond worth it!
