New Wave Outpost Forum

This has been mentioned in another thread "Human League (ish)" but I post it here as well so that no one will miss it. http://www.ubetoo.com/player.aspx?mediaid=39680

And of course this track from 1981

Did they listen to New Musik? Yup....

Oh and this one (new track)

Also these two definitely have New Musik-ish feeling:
Saint Etienne - Downey ca.
Camouflage - Blink
but I did not find them on youtube.

This may be obvious, but if you like New Musik, be sure to check out Captain Sensible's A&M output. Many of these songs are written by Robyn Hitchcock and arranged/played by Tony Mansfield.

Songs such as Martha the Mouth, There's More Snakes than Ladders, Brenda Pt 1 and 2 sound like they came right off of New Musik's 'From A to B'.

Check out Martha the Mouth and tell me this doesn't borrow heavily from 'Living by Numbers' and 'Sanctuary'.

Yes, of course
If Tony produced both, they are similar in style.
I list all the records he produced, here:
