It looks as if they are future releases.

I slways liked the cars.

Great news [:)] Nice to see them chronologically compiled together - including the few bonus tracks which officially exist from The Cars (B-sides and 12" mixes). This set even includes the 12" dub version of "Hello Again" - the only song/version of The Cars which has never been released on cd before (as far as I know).
But the real highlight for me is the DVD Rock Goes To College which is unreleased on DVD officially so far. It includes a concert from 1979. The two encore performances ("Candy-O" and "Hotel Queenie")were not broadcast and have remained unseen until now. Additionally the DVD includes the band’s first appearance on BBC TV’s legendary "Old Grey Whistle Test" Songs performed were "Best Friend’s Girl" and "Just What I Needed". (Still love that tune!)

It would be great if they release a cd from Ric Ocasek in the same way which includes his first two albums Beatitude and This Side Of Paradise including bonus tracks. Although I own them both on cd, I would be more than happy to have the extended 12" versions of Connect Up To Me, Prove and Jimmy, Jimmy finally on cd.

A dream come true would be the release of demo versions from the album Candy-O and Panorama.

Odd that they are down on the Amazon site as "Import".

I was going to mention that but amazon do this occasionally as well as screwing up their prices for preorders.

Heartbeat City + Door To Door and Panorama + Shake It Up are only £6.99 at HMV

Door To Door was reissueed on its own recently here in the US to coincide with the new cd Move Like This. No bonus tracks though.

Is this also released in the US?

Are these remasters or just unremastered reissues?

I'm assuming they are. Edsel normally does reissue remastered. Their Climie Fisher CDs from a few years back however weren't .
