Bizarre...why is Cherry Pop reissuing this already? There are so many other out of print titles they can focus on...

The one they really need to remaster and reissue again is the Danse Society's "Looking Through" cd. Still one of the worse sounding remastered cd's I own.

and i bet it has still got the cock-up with the gap between tracks 1 & 2... their cd contains a 2 second gap which splits what is supposed to be a smooth transition between the tracks

I guess because the people who did it, it's just a job to them. I always say, let fans help. But of course (most) record companies prefer the "casual fan/CD buyer" who isn't causing problems and come up with "unreasonable demands", like we do. Me included.

Maybe they realized the last one sounded horrible finally. Hopefully this one won't sound like shit like the other one did plus maybe it will get the tracks right with the wrong edits on the last one.

So how do we know, when we order this "2012" edition, that it's the "new" edition, not the 2008 edition? It has the same cat number and tracks. And how do we know it's improved, soundwise and otherwise? /JW

It's not a "new" edition. The Cherry Red site clearly said it was a "Re-Press." They're just making more copies, that's all. Must have sold out of the initial run.
