A working URL:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007MV83RC
Under 9GBP.

I love those "reviewers" who fancy themselves as music journalists, going on and on about the history of an artist, instead of just talking about the release itself.

Dub and the tongue-tied mixes--does this mean the actual a-side 12" mixes aren't going to be included?

What scares me about this release is, will it be properly remastered? AND, as far as the bonus tracks go, will they be from the master tapes or will they <SHUDDER TO THINK ABOUT IT!!> be vinyl rips? I don't mind vinyl rips if the original tapes are lost/destroyed, but only if there is absolute care done to them. I still think NWO's Rubellon is the remastering God of vinyl rips. His Dead Or Alive's "Sophisticated Boom Boom" bonus tracks from vinyl were absolutely stellar. And what about his gorgeous sonics on Haysi Fantayzee's album? The guy is genius and for that I am so grateful.

I almost hesitate to pre-order this because I'm afraid I'll be disappointed. It's a dream of so many of us to have this 80's classic preserved lovingly and brought up-to-date for audiophiles, but everything seems so against it. Arista! Alain! Hey, maybe even Stephen Geoge or Vince Ely! I'd so like Shay Jones to have her say. Alas, the story seems to end tragically. We're not Effigies!!! Oh No!!!!!!!!

This was supposed to be released yesterday, but most of the online sources I've checked (Amazon, Amazon UK, etc.) all say it's out of stock which typically means they never got any copies.

Has anyone seen this in the wild yet or is it just another example of this title not hitting its release date?

I probably should start a new thread for this, but I thought that it might be interesting to tie this is in with the new release. I've noticed that Shay Jones, the original female singer on the original Ministry record, has her own version of the song up for digital download in various mixes. Also, there is a cover version by Holy Ghost that has the same art work as the "With Sympathy" cover. These have been out for a few months now, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I don't have the new "With Sympathy" reissue yet, but the "out-of-stock" notification doesn't sound very good. I do hope this can become a reality and that all versions/mixes are added as bonus tracks. Al, as the song writer, should get a cut out of the album's royalaties, right? Or, as it's been stated in this forum before, he might have given the rights away. I hope that's not the case. And with Alain, you never know which way he'll turn.

I've seen the new release from the label saying that it has been moved to mid-July. Keeping my fingers crossed. [8D]

It seems like there should be room on the cd for a few more tracks. Too bad they couldn't just include these and call it a day.

I Wanted To Tell Her (12" Version) (7:06)
Work For Love (Extended Version) (6:25)
Work For Love (Short Version) (3:58)

Is this really coming out? I'm just a bit skeptical since we already went through this four years ago.

If this release does come to fruition, can someone please take pics of the actual re-released cd & post them here so we can finally believe?

I'm really surprised so many people adore this album. I have it because of "Revenge", but I struggled over multiple plays to find at least two additional songs worth repeated listening. In the end, only 4 songs made it onto the iPod, and one of those was a real stretch. I cannot stand dance funk, and that's what much of this is. Though I do enjoy hearing stories of Al's reaction when anyone mentions this album or dares to attempt to have him sign a copy.
