Odd thread but I am looking to find less common versions of my favourite New Wave albums. We already know about the famous two versions of A Secret Wish but I would also add:
A Broken Frame - US edition has longer version of Leave in Silence and adds Further Excerpts From My Secret Garden.
Construction Time Again - Extended mix of Everything Counts instead of the reprise.
Black Celebration - Different intro to Question Of Time and But Not Tonight is the final track.
Penthouse & Pavement/Luxury Gap - These Heaven 17 albums had totally different US editions but as far as I am aware they were never released on CD.
Poland - Only two 80's versions of this Tangerine Dream album contain the complete recording.
Kraftwerk - Computerwelt. The mix of the title track is different as well as the language.
Illustrated Musical Encylopedia - Japanese edition has more Japanese tracks.
Duran Duran - US edition of debut album has different tracklist and adds Is There Something I Should Know?
Anymore I should hunt out?

I believe the Duran Duran self titled LP was released in the US with the same cover as the UK LP but they used the night version of Planet Earth instead of the version that showed up on the release with the Is There Something I Should Know which had a different cover.
The first OMD relesae in the US pretty much picked the best songs from the first 2 UK releases and had a slightly different version of Electricity than the one on the UK self titled.

> Cutting Crew - Broadcast. US version, different mixes
After hearing the remastered version, I fail to hear what the difference is in these US versions.

Correct, as is the Canadian original release.
> A Broken Frame - US edition has longer version of Leave in Silence and adds Further Excerpts From My Secret Garden.
Assuming that the Canadian pressing is the same as the US, the photo of Andy Fletcher on the inside sleeve is different to the UK/DE/etc version. And they cheaped out here, by providing a greyscale inside sleeve instead of the full colour one.
> Construction Time Again - Extended mix of Everything Counts instead of the reprise.
On the CD, yes, but not on the vinyl in Canada. And again, it has a greyscale inside sleeve.
> Black Celebration - Different intro to Question Of Time and But Not Tonight is the final track.
Yeah, the fucked up, repeated intro of Time. Canadian has But Not Tonight, as well.
Canadian CD of Kylie Minogue - Kylie Minogue also includes the French version of Confide in Me. Supposedly, one of the photos in the booklet was unique to this release. Some lying sacks of shit eBayers tried to claim that it had a unique cover (using the aforementioned exclusive photo), but this is a lie. All they did was fold the booklet differently to make it look as though the cover was different.
Blancmange - Second Helpings: supposedly, the CA CD has some different version or extra tracks, but I don't know what.
Saga - Worlds Apart: US vinyl has a completely different cover.
Saga - Silent Knight: I think it is the US CD, where Don't Be Late has a different intro. It could be the DE CD, though.
Oops, re-reading the original post, this is supposed to be about CDs, and not vinyl [B)].

The original Columbia US cd of The Boomtown Rats "A Tonic For The Troops" has a different tracklisting, and a superior, rerecorded "Mary Of The 4th Form". Well worth seeking out, great sound, too. Not brickwalled like the remasters. It's always the same - we trade good sonics and dynamic range for extra tracks and expanded artwork - that's why I have so many cds I can't trade or sell when I buy "remasters"! [:(!]

"Into the Gap" has different running orders from pressing to pressing, as well, although I think the early pressing in all countries were the same, then later re-ordered everywhere.
And I think "Roll Over" was a bonus track in some areas, on Future Days (or maybe it was some other track).

The Canadian version of Blancmange's "Second Helpings" came with these bonus tracks which made it far superior for years.
13 That's Love, That It Is (Extended Version) 6:56
14 Blind Vision (Extended Version) 9:38
15 Feel Me (Extended Version) 6:57
Red Flag's vinyl version of "Naive Art" with the shorter versions has always been so much better for me than the cd version with the super long versions that seem to go on more than they need to.
Camouflage's original german release of "Love Is A Shield" 12 inch, although somewhat smoother, seemed to not really make sense while the US release seemed to make more sense but the song sounded a little choppier. I like both versions. [:D]

For Blancmange, I forgot this was a longer version on the Canadian pressing too.
6 Game Above My Head (Extended Version) 7:14

Again with vinyl, but the Canadian releases of Simple Mind's "Sons and Fascination" + "Sister Feelings Call" have all the tracks split differently between the two. Combined, I think all the tracks are there, but "The American" and "Themes for Great Cities" are both on "Sons".

Erasure's "Wonderland" album from 1986
The USA CD version has a completely different mix of "Oh L'Amour" than the UK version. In fact I don't believe the version on the USA CD has ever appeared anywhere else. Funny thing is even after owning it since 1986, I didn't realize it was different until I had both the USA version and the recent UK remastered version playing back to back in my iTunes library. The USA version has a much more "demo" feeling, but it's the first version of the song I ever heard, so it's actually the version I hear in my head when I think about the song!
Besides having a totally different version of "Oh L'Amour", the USA CD also omitted "Pistol" and "Push Me, Shove Me", replacing them with "March On Down The Line".
The USA CD has the remixes of "Who Needs Love Like That" and "Oh L'Amour" as bonus tracks, but "Who Needs Love..." has some awful distortion defect during the intro and the "Oh L'Amour" remix is sped up a bit.

Both Yazoo albums have different track listings in the US.
I believe Depeche Mode's Speak & Spell also had a different track listing in the US and UK.
Pat Benatar's Tropico has a different track listing in the UK.
