High Land and Hard Rain looks good as i assume that the Colin Farley and Langer/Winstanley mixes of Oblivious will be remastered pristine quality,as one of them to the best of my knowledge has never made it to CD from its poor quality vinyl origin yet......

I hope they don't use the Oblivious (Remix) which was on 12"/80s/2 as it had a mastering fault. I wonder if this time we will get the full 9 minute mix of Walk Out To Winter as every other compilation it's appeared on it's been edited. The only other place to get the full version is the Japanese compilation Covers And Rare from 1993.

They are all available everywhere else as well but not the expanded editions.

I can't believe that they have put this glitched version out again. Doesn't anyone listen to these tracks before expecting people to pay money for them? Horrible skip noise 22 seconds in. Excellent album HLHR is, though.

Thanks for the info. The funny thing is that I've never noticed that skip before. I must have just assumed that my CD skipped. Let me see if I can fix it ...

Do they have the original masters of these 2 mixes??
It has to be remembered that neither of these 2 mixes were official ROUGH TRADE/WEA releases way back in 83/84.

Good point, magnum.
If this was the only source available for the track, I would have preferred it if they had left this out and included 'Just Like Gold' and 'Mattress Of Wire' if possible.

Me too but unfortunately it was on Frame's request that 'Just Like Gold' and 'Mattress Of Wire' weren't included as "they belong to a special time and place". I rest my case.
