Some Possible Reissues coming?

Some Possible Reissues coming?

All, I dropped some suggestions to Cherry Red yesterday and got the following reply which is reasonably hopeful
Suggestions were

Blue Zoo 2 x 2
Kissing the pink issues ( including Naked again but this time with 12" and 7 " mixes)
Fiat Lux Hired history or compilation like they did for the Mood
Further Funiture re-issues
Secession ( a Dark enchartment with 12" and 7 " mixes , plus any stuff they can licenece off beggars banquet e.g. Touch and Fire Island)
One thousand Violins Hey man thats Beautiful
B-Movie compilation of the some bizzare material

The reply was quite quick saying that they are already actively seeking Blue Zoo and Kissing the pink . They have seeked Fiat Lux but was refused ( might be an indication someone else is doing it soon ) and that they liked my other suggestions and would look into them

Anyway here's hoping

Congratulations on at least receiving a reply from them.
I have sent my suggestions list more than once, but never heard anything back from them. Cheers/JW

I would buy any of those cd's you listed in heartbeat. I think I've suggested a few of those to them and a few other reissue labels but no luck. [:(] If they can reissue the A Drop In The Gray and Minor Detail album too, that would be awesome. [:D] Best of luck to you.

I think Andy O of Blue Zoo is working on a new album as well as reissue of 2 x 2.

I would certainly be interested in a new Blue Zoo album providing it was with the guitarist since he wrote a large chunk of the music.

I have received replies from Cherry Red recently as well including:

Armoury Show - Waiting For The Flood deluxe - they are working on seeking the rights for this, one of their most requested potential reissues

Naked Eyes - Burning Bridges and Fuel For The Fire - looking into this

Sad Lovers And Giants - Les Annees Vertes and Treehouse Poetry - not at this time

Snake Corps - entire back catalogue - maybe, but not at this time

Music For Pleasure - entire back catalogue - looking into it

Into Paradise - entire back catalogue - not sure if they can gain the sales needed but looking into it

Yeah, I've sent some suggestions to their Hot Shot label, too, and got some responses. One was for Kissing The Pink (KTP) "Certain Things Are Likely"; they said they would look into it.
