Would love to see Art of Noise (China years), David Bowie, Dead Or Alive or Eurythmics. Not getting my hopes up though.

We'll they are hinting that one of them is Falco 2 cd set of 12" mixes. I am hoping for an Icehouse 12" COLLECTION.

Alphaville is an obvious one that they need to do but I don't know why they don't do it. Seems like they were able to get some of the tracks for the compilation series.
Secession would be amazing but I not holding my breath for that to happen.
Wouldn't mind seeing a Cetu Javu comp either and include all of the 12 inches and alternative versions from "Where Is Where".

Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't these so80s Artist Editions been all licensed from EMI? Maybe we'll only see stuff released by EMI previously. Alphaville, for example, is on Warner.

I heard that Alphaville are not really convinced of such a 12" compilation and therefore hesitate to give a permission.

That's because Alphaville wants to release it themselves, and charge 50EUR for it, strictly limited edition. And after that sells out, they will charge 40EUR for the digital download.

Bummer. I was all for Alphaville. It's about time they have their back catalogue reissued or something .

I think Falco is not a bad choice, although I like his early songs much better. I have compiled my personal "Falco - Rare 12" & 7" Versions" with the following tracklist - mostly songs from his first two albums:
1.Junge Römer (Extended Version)(6:38) (German 12")
2.That Scene (Ganz Wien)(4:22) (Austria 7")
3.Der Kommisar (Original 12“ Version) (Killroy-Label)(6:23)
4.Helden von Heute (Original 12“ Version)(Killroy-Label)(5:13)(B-Side)
5.Maschine brennt (US Specially Remixed Version)(4:55) (12")
6.Auf der Flucht (On the Run) (US Specially Remixed Version)(4:33) (12" B-Side)
7.Zuviel Hitze (12” Maxi-Version)(4:32)
8.Junge Römer (US Specially Remixed Version)(7:45) (12")
9.Junge Römer (US Dub Version)(6:05) (12" B-Side)
10.Falco + Desiree Nosbusch - Kann es Liebe sein (7" Version)(3:50)
11.Midnight Train To Vienna (The Mean Wien Mix)(5:20) (CA 12")
12.Vienna Girls (Sax Mix Max) 4:59) (CA 12" B-Side)
13.Vienna Calling (The New 86 Edit / Mix)(4:00) (12")

There will be 2 discs of Falco in his extended form, so I think it will include much more.
I think the reissue of Falco 3 a couple of years ago was a bit of a let down. I hope this one will also include the Salieri Mix of Rock Me Amadeus.
