This has already been mentioned in another thread
http://www.nwoutpost.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=32859
but I made a separate thread so that no-one will miss this terrific CD! Only 300 CDs were made, available from 8 Aug.

It's amazing that it has not been released until now. Now I am waiting for the rest of the 1983-85 projects of Vince to be released.

I got the CD today, it comes in a standard jewel box, with a 4-page booklet that includes interesting liner notes. It was recorded in "Spring 1982" which chronologically places these recordings in between YAZOO's two first singles Only You (March 1982) and Don't Go (July 1982). Thus, it's amongst the first things that Vince recorded after leaving Depeche Mode. If you ask me, this gives an insight into what their 2nd album *could* have sounded like had he stayed. (Not that I wish he had...) It's surprising that soo many DM fans want "everything" by Depeche, and miss out this CD. The first DM LP was very much Vince's project... /JW

Great news - just ordered my copy today. I really love this early 80s Vince Clarke sound (first DM and both Yazoo).
