Actually I originally read that this release was going to reinstate the two live tracks from the original issue and add Have You Heard The News?

This one http://www.discogs.com/Talk-Talk-The-Ve ... ease/74240 I'm sure those two live tracks appeared on a CD single around that time.

That link doesn't work, but the live 1986 tracks from those 1990 reissue singles were included on this CD http://www.discogs.com/Talk-Talk-London ... ase/388055 so I guess no need to put them as extra tracks.

However, there are two live tracks recorded in July 1986 at Montreux Jazz Festival (Does Caroline Know? & Dum Dum Girl) that were included around that time on singles (see my Talk Talk discog) that for natural reasons were not on that London CD.

IF they were to add extra tracks on the Natural History CD, there are remixes that they could add, released at the time to promote that album.

It's My Life (Tropical Love Forest Mix by Dominic Woosey) 5.58
Talk Talk - Recycled 8.53 [a Medley, not a remix per se, but still belongs here]
Life's What You Make It (The BBG Remix) 6.12
Life's What You Make It (The Fluke Remix) 6.16
Life's What You Make It (The Dominic Woosey Remix) 8.21
Such a Shame (Remixed by Gary Miller)

But of course the record company doing the reissue is either uninterested or unaware of these remixes.

The link does work it just seems to be slow to load today for some reason. The two live tracks are Life's What You Make It (Live @ The Hammersmith Odeon) and Tomorrow's Started (Live @ The Hammersmith Odeon) It's the US version of Natural History CDP-7-93976-2 Both those tracks feature on the 1990 CD single Life's What You Make It http://www.discogs.com/Talk-Talk-Lifes- ... ase/541406

OK. I tried many times, the link does not work, not sure why. Anyway, those two live tracks are on the 1999 "LONDON 1986" CD.
The two Montreux Jazz Festival live tracks are on the DVD http://www.discogs.com/master/180728?te ... treux-1986

> But of course the record company doing the reissue is either uninterested or unaware of these remixes.

From what I've read, Hollis never wanted/approved History Revisited to be released, so I'm assuming that goes for all the remixes from that era.

I'm not surprised, because that compilation put the remixes in focus, while they had only been promoting Talk Talk on the dance floor scene up until then. My solution would be to issue the Talk Talk albums as 2-CDs, with all the remixes on CD 2.

I wouldn't mind an expanded edition of History Revisited, but what I think more people want would be It's My Mix, even though there's only a couple tracks that hasn't made it on CD yet. They could add a couple of other versions of Why Is It So Hard on there. Think one was from a soundtrack. Someone posted it here awhile back.

I guess you can find the (few) vinyl-only remixes on youtube, or here http://burningtheground.net/category/talk-talk/

I will remove this link in 24 hours or faster if someone objects to non-CD tracks being "revealed".

All I wish Talk Talk would release are:

Talk Talk - Mini Album (Original album artwork)
Talk Talk 3:20
Serious 3:19
Today 3:28
Candy 4:40

Talk Talk - It's My Mix (Original album artwork and include a fold out mini poster like the vinyl release)
Why Is It So Hard? (12" U.S. Remix - Extended Version) 6:03
Talk Talk (12" Mix - Extended Version) 4:32
My Foolish Friend (12" Mix - Extended Version) 5:26
It's My Life (12" Mix - Extended Version) 6:14
Dum Dum Girl (12" Remix - Extended Version) 5:20
Such A Shame (12" U.S. Remix - Extended Version) 6:24

Talk Talk - TV Performances DVD

and a new album that sounds anything like any of their first 3 albums. [:D]

Does the mini-album have different versions or something?
