Oh yeah i saw that there. Guess i should've posted on here but i've yet to start a thread lol. Can't wait. Loved 'History of modern' and they are so fantastic live! Seen them four times in the last few years last time near the front at Rewind. So near in fact, i spotted myself quite a bit on the footage of the Sunday shown on Sky Arts

Bought the single about 23 hours ago. Midnight here in the U.K. Great single and good value despite is obviously being an MP3. 7 tracks 6 mixes of 'Metroland' and a 'b' side. £2.49. As i'm sure you all know by now sounds quite like Kraftwerk. Good song. Even has a Krafterk themed title! Also, album gets a respectable 3/5 stars in Q Magazine which i received today (subscription).

Without a question one of the finest albums released this year so far. I love the way they crafted the songs and salute their decision to revive that wonderful experimental minimalistic sound of "Dazzle Ships", one of their masterpieces, wholeheartedly. The cover art made by the great Peter Saville is just awesome! [:)]

I think I would have liked this album if it were released in '87 as a follow up to The Pacific Age. It just feels so instantly dated and... leaden.

I think it's more in synch with the Dazzle Ships era.

I've been listening to the stream, and I like it a lot. Even better than 2010's History of Modern, which was one of my favorite records from that year.

definately agree , quite a few potential singles on there but for me Helen of Troy really stands out and is up there with some of their best songs

It's outstanding. Have the CD in my hand right now. Played it about 5 times already today. Better than History of Modern.
IS THAT THE TWELVE INCH MIX ? Out late 2010
