New Wave Outpost Forum

Out March 25th... Tracklistings TBC. Very pleased! Not sure which label is handling these, but will update the thread with more info, unless someone beats me to it, ASAP.

Great news. I saw them back in 1989 or 1990. Should reform!

http://www.festivalphoto.net has reviews + tracklists up for both releases

Their music was shit but i would like to see a DVD with their videos[:D]

Thanks for the tracklists/links! Very, very good. They've basically covered everything except three tracks I hoped to see;

Child Of The Age - Melody Maker EP 7" exclusive
Bad Valentine [Live]/A Message - A/B-side of 1989 Fanclub 7"

There's also a full 1989 show recorded - 4 tracks from which later made the b-sides for the UK/USA formats of (I Just Wanna) Be With You/If Looks Could Kill. Otherwise, the CDs look chock-full. Perhaps we'll see another label pick up the third album and they might squeeze these tracks on there (I remain ever hopeful, anyway...). [^]

Never really got into their music although I thought Velveteen had some ok songs on it.

Phew! And I've been just thinking to post this thread, anfunny2003 matey! [:D]
I always saw them as a singles band first as most of solely album tracks just didn't find a way to my ears.
I'd rather see a DVD with their promo videos out too.
But those who like them and are completists of their stuff will find these deluxe reissues rather great.
