New Order Substance Re-Release?

Was reading the latest issue of some new wave magazine(Simple Minds cover-Classic Pop I think its called) anyways, they have a listing for "New Order" Substance re-release and I *think* it claimed it had been released last month. My question is, has anyone seen this, does it exist, and is there anything new added(bonus disc of mixes, unreleased tracks, etc)?

I can't find any reference to this anywhere on the net. This would be an ideal opportunity to make up for those horrible remasters a few years back and they could make this a 3 or even 4 disc set and put the full mixes on it.

Yes agree. But do you think the label will ask fans for help? I don't think they will. And I don't think they will get the versions and tracks this time either, because of that. But I hope I'm wrong. /JW

They (the label) will not ask the fans for help. I'm sure of that.

They could have done this in the recent past and they didn't, that's why some bloggers were taking things into their own hands ans started their own 'Factory single-reissues' online. Thank God they did.

I also don't believe there will EVER be another attempt from the label to re-do Substance 1987 in an expanded form. But hey, we don't NEED it. We already HAVE it. The only difference is that it's not in an official physical form, but that's because major label don't care. The only thing they done since 1994 is to milk out the fans, nothing more and nothing less.

Moni, I went back and re-read the article, it was for Joy Divsion "substance" re-release, then they talked about New Order's "Sirens" re-release, so my apologies about getting confused. I was actually excited when i forst read it thinking" Substance would be a good record to re-release".
