This collection features various versions of the band's singles: Castles In Spain (album / single DJ edit and 12 inch Wubb Dug mix), We Can Be Brave Again (album / single remix / extended version), Glory Of Love (album / single DJ edit / Universal mix), New York City (single / N.Y. Finally! This was due last year but delayed for some reason.

Looks like they've compiled every studio track in one tidy collection...well done Cherry Red!

When I saw this I was tempted to sell my original CD but the chances of the reissue sounding worse are fairly high so I'll hang on to it and suffer the loss of a 'cash-in' opportunity.

NEVER sell your original pressings, unless you need the $$$. Reissues almost never surpass the originals.

I found that with Red Box - Circle &The Square. Luckily I got another original at a modest costs to replace the one I sold - wonder if it was the same copy? :-)

Sometimes this isn't possible - space, etc - but I disagree with this comment as a blanket statement...there are many reissues that do surpass the originals sonically...and then there are others that don't get it right.

I've sold two original CD copies of this CD - one sealed - and have no regrets. I am looking forward to this new reissue, especially as it will have much that has never been issued on CD. I personally lobbied Cherry Red for years, as did many others, to make this release a reality...I'm glad it's finally happening.

Finally got the track listing...they tried to get everything on here but for some reason left off their final single, Love In Anger plus its respective 12" track Uptown Dowtown ...don't know why they couldn't drop one of the NY City mixes to get these two tracks on it...this was the chance to get everything they ever released on one set but instead we get an incomplete collection.

definitely could have left off some single edits and instrumentals to accomplish that IMO.

I am a fanatic when it comes to the music of John Robie. Read: Beyond Obsessed!!!!!! I am so happy that his music/mixes/remixes are eventually seeing the light-of-day on compact disc. I am delighted with this Armoury Show release because of what it contains. I wish the man would get a proper compilation of some of his best work released and un-released, but I guess that would be tough as there are so many labels involved. Mr. Robie deserves so much credit in what he's created and for all of his inspiration to others.
