Swimming Pool Q's

The Swimming Pool Q's were a band from the American South that featured the crystal clear vocals of Anne Richmond Boston. They represented the sort of new wave that received that classification based on their being hard to put into another category. A compilation is coming out covering their material from 1984-1986.

I know that if you go to Cdnow, they have a release date.

The label for the Swimming Pool Q's release is Bar/ None Records, and the date is June 25. The title has a reference to the A&M years, 1984-1986.
