I've always wanted a 2 cd retrospective from Visage containing all the 7"/12" mixes along with b sides and rarities.

There's already a title on Spectrum by Visage, so it's probably just a re-hash of this;

Didn't that Master Series cd from 1997 have a similar track list . I believe it was on Polydor.

I have all of the Visage comps and this is the first to have two of my faves, Malpaso Man and Wild Life.

Right on Omar, we all want that double CD!
And yes ALL Visage compilation CDs have a similar track listing.
But it's not exactly the same as any previous compilation, as Pinkyblue pointed out. Let's just hope they will use some rare versions at least.

PS one thing I was Always wondering about is why the 12" Mix of Fade to Grey on the 1983 Singles Collection is advertised as "previously unreleased", when it was in fact released in USA/Canada in 1981 on a special remix EP. Perhaps they meant previously unreleased in UK? I don't have the EP so I can't check if it's exactly the same mix as on the 1983 LP.

I'm not sure how correct this is but I've seen this listed on some site:
1 Mind of a Toy [dance Mix] [mix]
2 In the Year 2525
3 Fade to Grey [12" Single Version] [version]
4 Tar
5 Night Train
6 Malpaso Man
7 Moon Over Moscow
8 The Damned Don't Cry
9 The Anvil [bbc Session 1982]
10 Can You Hear Me? [bbc Session 1983] [live]
11 We Move [dance Mix] [mix]
12 Wild Life
13 Pleasure Boys
14 Beat Boy
15 Frequency 7 [dance Mix] [mix]

How about 12" Dance Mixes of "The Anvil" and "The Damned Don't Cry" instead of the same old same old? "The Damned Don't Cry" Dance Mix on the Cherry Red expanded ed. of "The Anvil" was very poor!
How come they can get the original master of "Der Amboss" which was a rare promo only in 1982, yet can't seem to find the original masters of the of the above?

If anyone is interested if you go on the visage website you can get a promo cd with orginal version of frequency seven on it , which I think is the best version and has vocals

True. But a certain Jarren wasn't happy with the sound quality:

Yeah but he's complaining about the WAV version, not the CD. My CD sounds great - really happy to have that original on CD at last. If only we could get the original Tar and Night Train 7" versions on CD...

Like someone commented on that page, where did he get that WAV from? Normally a WAV file is exctracted from a CD. Yes there are several Visage versions/mixes not officially on CD yet.

Is the original 7" UK A side version of 'Night train' really unreleased on CD to date? I used to play my 7" of that to death and didn't really notice a difference on the versions i own on CD. Not that i'm an expert on Visage or anything, clearly
