Not major news but some of you may be interested , we might be inching forward on defintive versions of their albums being released . The track listing for this on Amazon UK does not actaully say but it does include the 12" versions of tradegy and mystery plus Hanna Hanna

So if you want them now they are available or the risk is to wait and see if they bring out deluxe versions in the near future with these on

Hopefully the new album in September will spark some interest in getting these released , I like the tracks I have heard so far

Yep it is cheap so i did not mind getting it just for the 12" versions , I neglected to say that it has Saint Savior Square 12" on it as well

What i was really hoping for was that it had never too late on it from the limited edition black man ray 12" which i think is a great track

Anyway fingers crossed for the deluxe versions of teh first four albums

yes, but since it has n B sides on it..I would think Never too late was not considered even thought it is a amazing song & they have many great B sides too

wow thats a pretty solid tracklist. If I had to make a list of all the best CC songs then it would be almost identical to the tracklising of this CD. I just hope the mastering is good.

I've already ordered my copy. Hoping the 12" versions mentioned are not vinyl rips.

To my ears they sounded ok( my ears are nearly 50 though) , I only played it on my laptop with earphones whilst I was working but did not notice any pops etc , hope that helps

This is going to be like the 5-6 China Crisis compilation that I have bought. Overkill but I keep doing it. Wish they would release a remastered version of the "Working With Fire and Steel" with bonus tracks.

Got the cd today. Both the 12" versions of Hanna Hanna and Tragedy & Mystery sound like they're mono recordings. Has anyone noticed that ?

The sound on most of the tracks is pretty shitty i have noticed i'm glad i only paid £3 for it. Still find it strange why they only reissued Diary Of A Hollow Horse and haven't bothered with the rest of their back catalogue I sent an email to Cherry Red a while back asking the same question but they never replied to me.

Compared the Hanna Hanna 12" version on this to the one on Meto 2 Spanish compilation and yes it is in mono and very thin sounding. Don't know about Tragedy and Mystery though coz nothing to compare to
