What was the quality of these remasters like?

I have one spandau compilation already.

What was the quality of these remasters like?

Horrendous especially the tracks from Journeys To Glory.

Several fans complained to EMI about some of these remasters only to get a blank response. The only redeeming thing on this new set is the 3 new tracks. Only time will tell.

Journeys to Glory has to be one of, if not THE, worst remaster I've ever heard. CD2 of that album, plus the other the reissues, aren't as bad but still need to be improved for sure.

And speaking of Spandau Ballet, does anyone know what happened to the reissues of Through the Barricades and Heart Like a Sky?

[omar]

I guess they're not happening or have been postponed indefinitely .
