Liverpool's alternative rock/alternative dance/baggy survivors will get a 7 disc "Complete Studio Recordings" box-set by Edsel Records on December 8th 2014.
Formed in 1983, the band saw its career peak only during the early '90s with release of their debut studio album "Spartacus" from 1991 that reached #1 in the UK album chart, and spawned their biggest hit-singles "Groovy Train" (UK#6, 1990) and "All Together Now" (UK#4, 1990).
More info on the box-set to follow soon.

Does anyone know anything else about this release? I can't find info online and Edsel's web site is of course, offline. The Farm is a guilty pleasure for me and I'm curious how they are going to stretch three LPs worth of material over seven CDs! There are a ton of remixes, of course, but four extra CDs worth?

I'm sorry there's no more info on the box-set yet. We'll have to wait until Edsel do that for us themselves. I'm very curious as well. I guess there will be lots of demos, mixes, remixes, alternate versions, live versions, B-sides, promo videos, TV appearances...etc. alongside material from those three studio LPs they've recorded over their career. But could be proven wrong, of course. Watch this space nevertheless!

Update:
The box-set has been pushed back to February 2nd 2015. Unfortunately.

I'm ok with that. This fall has been hard enough on the wallet already (TFF, Simple Minds, etc.) I'm still really curious to know what will be on this set, though.

Bit Similar to C,USM [but in a scouse way] but their late 80s stuff was good. whats the tracklisting???

The box-set now has been pushed back to February 23rd 2015. And still no more info on it.

The box-set's cover art has arrived. And looking at it, the box-set will consist of "Pastures Old And New", "Spartacus", "Love See No Colour", "Hullabaloo", "Non-Album Tracks & B-Sides", "BBC Sessions" and "The Remixes". A 40-page booklet will be there as well. No complete tracklisting yet, though.

And the complete tracklisting has finally arrived:

Missing, of course, are all the U.S. remixes and 7" versions.

Yep. The U.S. remixes and 7" versions keep on missing a little bit more often off such reissues these days, don't they?

The list of missing mixes (as compiled in the comments at SuperDeluxeEdition) is shockingly long. HOWEVER I'm still looking forward to this set. It's a great value and many of the best missing mixes can be found on CD singles and compilations. It's a shame they dare to call it "complete" though, because it's not.

Oh wow. That really is a lot of missing material. I wonder if its too late for them to change it and include these tracks (doubt it will happen but one can hope).
