Kissing The Pink - Naked (Cherry Red 2015)

Nick Whitecross from Kissing the Pink posted on his Facebook page today that Cherry Red are issuing Naked later this year with bonus tracks. Could be good...though of course CR are very hit and miss these days. If anyone has the old fan compiled 2disc CDR from the late 90s you'll know there's lots of stuff in the archive that hasn't been official issued before. Even if the bonus tracks are only b-sides or 12" mixes it could be good.

Really hope they do What Noise next for it's CD debut.

Several people have emailed CR in regards to KTP over the years and have gotten the reply that "We're working on it". What I'd really like is a complete singles collection.

This is great news , I have the wounded bird release but thought it was a missed opportunity with the kissing the pink EP bolted on . I do hope we get the 12" versions especially the last film which i love

Hopefully it'll be a 2cd version with all the 7"/12" versions,b-sides,unreleased stuff.

Cherry red seem to have posted their releases for September and there is no mention of kissing the pink which is a shame , lets hope for October then
I cant find anything on the web regarding more details on the release

Well a little bit of an update

I emailed cherry red making some suggestions such as fiat lux and perhaps an 80's 12" collection that included some of the more obscure 12" versions we are after. Anyway one of the tracks on my suggestions was the Last Film Extended

Tim wrote back and said that this will appear on the Naked Re-issue now due in October

so a shed of light in that it will include some of the extended versions we have been after

This Is great news. Hopefully CR has the license to also reissue What Noise (1984) and Certain Things Are Likely (1986) next. I'm still hanging on to my Wounded Birds reissue of Naked/Kissing The Pink as it contains a few 7" mixes that i don't see on the CR version.

All , I ordered the album direct from Cherry Red and to my surprise it arrived today

Now I am not an Audio expert but would like to report the mastering sounds excellent and having the bonus tracks is brilliant

I know there is often mixed reviews on cherry red releases but I must say I am impressed and want to say well done to them on an excellent release

would be good if they could do what noise
