Nov. 2015 will see the release of the final studio album Visage recorded before Steve Strange's sad death. No track listing yet, but a cover of David Bowie's Loving The Alien is included.

It's named after an awesome Atari 2600 game (which I own) so I'm intrigued.

Steve came back with a vengeance. Don't know anything about the "lost years". But I'm very glad more is forthcoming.

It arrived yesterday and is a bit of a mixed bag really however there is a brilliant track ( to my ears ) called club scene that is worth the price alone , A really lovely track with some lovely guitar and sequencers I really , really recommend it


on the whole though a worthy release to celebrate a great innovator and an icon of the 80's

p.s. I don't like their version of loving the alien sounds a bit under produced

It's a pretty weak album to be honest, that said the closing track "Never" is brilliant, other highlights are "Become", "Days Become Dark" and "Clubscene", the rest are fillers, the cover of "Loving The Alien" is awful.

If I was to score it i'd say 4/10

Now a more fitting tribute would be a complete singles collection to include the singles released off "Hearts And Knives".

I found the closing track to be very moving in the light of Steve's death. It's not as good as Hearts And Knives but I still think it's pretty solid. A shame there won't be any more.
What I'd like to see (finally!) would be a double CD remaster of the first album, with all the 7" edits/remixes, 12" versions, b-sides, demos and anything related in Polydor/Universal's vaults. Even tangential stuff like the Ronny single produced by Midge Ure and Rusty Egan would be nice to have too.

I do know a label is trying to get the rights to a 12"/7" compilation proposed track listing is as follows which looks pretty impressive but not sure of the licencing complications

I'm really enjoying Demons To Diamonds. I'm surprised it's not more popular here. The demo quality of the vocals almost lends itself to an authentic early eighties sound. I'm satisfied with the album. It's a shame we won't have more.

I think it's a very good album - not weak at all. It has many catchy hooks and I also like the very early-80's sound of its production. Does anybody know something about the songs included in the booklet but not on the cd?

Tracklist of the Remix-cd looks too good to be true.

The remix track list is very appealing and I hope that it gets released soon.

Hello Profil , I believe what they have done is print some of the lyrics steve had written but they had not got round to doing the music due to his untimely death , i think the album is growing on me but is still a hit and miss affair , i still think club scene is the best but also think days become dark is a great second

I do hope the record label in question gets to to do the CD of the remixes etc , if i get an update from them on that and Fiat lux i will post straight away
