Just noticed this on amazon for March release from cherry pop

no track details yet but it is stating it will be a 2 cd version

http://www.amazon.co.uk/PELICAN-WEST-HA ... aircut+100

Even though I think it's a very spotty album, I'm definitely curious to see all the extras and will likely buy it.

Great news - this is one I've been waiting on!!!

Strangely enough Cherry Red's recent reissues have been fairly decent in terms of sound quality. Hope this one is not messed up.

The mastering has been just fine on previous cds, especially the American Beat reissue. It's all about that 2nd disc and the packaging/artwork on this new one, imho.

Here's the tracklist:

CD ONE

1. FAVOURITE SHIRTS (BOY MEETS GIRL)
2. LOVE PLUS ONE
3. LEMON FIREBRIGADE
4. MARINE BOY
5. MILK FILM
6. KINGSIZE (YOU’RE MY LITTLE STEAM WHISTLE)
7. FANTASTIC DAY 8. BAKED BEAN
9. SNOW GIRL
10. LOVE’S GOT ME IN TRIANGLES
11. SURPRISE ME AGAIN
12. CALLING CAPTAIN AUTUMN
BONUS TRACKS

13. BOAT PARTY
14. SKI CLUB
15. OCTOBER IS ORANGE (DAY 1 & 2)
16. NOBODY’S FOOL (7″ SINGLE)

CD TWO

1. FAVOURITE SHIRTS (BOY MEETS GIRL) (12″ VERSION)
2. LOVE PLUS ONE (12” VERSION)
3. FANTASTIC DAY (12″ VERSION)
4. NOBODY’S FOOL (12″ VERSION)
5. CALLING CAPTAIN AUTUMN (SPECIAL EXTENDED VERSION) #
6. BOAT PARTY (12″ VERSION)
7. OCTOBER IS ORANGE (DAY 1 & 2) (12″ VERSION)
8. SKI CLUB OF GREAT BRITAIN

Track listing looks good , looking forward to this relase

Thanks for posting that - I'm in!

All, got this in the post today , I have only played CD2 which is the 12" versions and the sound quality sounds really good , the packaging is nice and the CD's are printed with artwork of the day

I think it is a good purchase

Did you order direct from Cherry Red? I did and I'm a bit miffed it hasn't arrived.

i am surprised cherry red usually send it earlier , got mine from amazon uk

Has anyone else noticed the following? Towards the end of Lemon Firebrigade there's a slight drop out. The sleeve notes mention this defect on all available master copies therefore it's present on this 2016 version as well. However on the 2007 American Beat Records cd which i have, it's luckily not.

Looks ok............shame the demo's of Love Plus One and Nobody's Fool are missing.

i prefer remixes over demos.
