Human League - Don't You Want Me (Purple Disco Machine)

Out today - 2 track download single remix of the perennial Human League classic. The 7" I'm indifferent about, but the longer version is pretty good - certainly much better than the disappointing "dance mix" on the original 1981 12" single.

You're right. The longer version is much better. I bought that single on itunes early in the morning

The original is far better although the remix isn't that bad. Would love to see Blank & Jones do a remix of DYWM just like they did with Propaganda and Frankie.

Not a great deal different in the 7 Inch, however, the extended version is a vast improvement on the sub par Dance Mix that was released yeras ago.

The PDM extended verion isnt bad [i'd give it a 6 out 10] but i'd much prefer to get my hands on the original multitracks and make my own, there are quite a few fan made mixes out there which combine the disappointing 81 12" mix and the 7" mix to make a better extended version
