Newly remastered by Zeus B. Held, Gina X Performance's 1979 and 1981 albums get reissued again on Les Disques Du Crépuscule as a 2CD set. I have the 2005 cds which sounded ok but had some vinyl sourced remixes. This new 2 disc set is already out in Europe and is scheduled for a March 4th release here in the US.

There's a great US price on the 2xCD [$15] and the 2xLP [$27] at Darla.com. The LP is a clear/green vinyl combo [one LP clear, and the other green, but I'm having trouble finding pack shots of that] in 1000 copies. I am indifferent to the new mixes [the 2002 Berlin remix of "No G.D.M." is a carry over from the earlier CD], but excited over the new track "Eurode" that appears as a bonus track on "Voyeur."

The new cover design is taken from the "Do It Yourself" single from "X-Traordinaire," which is, ironically, not a part of this package.

For anyone contemplating getting this reissue I'd strongly say yes. Just got my copy and it sounds great. Better than those 2005 cds which had many vinyl rips.
