My notes:

1. The Andy Partridge version of Best Kept Secret is actually the album version again. Gary Daly said the real version is being mastered right now and will be made available to everyone. I would imagine it's probably a digital download rather than CD repress.

2. The single version of Christian is on here, which wasn't included in the reissues but all the other "edits" are actually the album versions.

3. This would have a nice opportunity to release the single versions of Tragedy & Mystery (not on CD), This Occupation (not on CD) and Hanna Hanna (only available on a rare compilation).

4. The albums will give you most of the unreleased tracks from the Diary of A Hollow Horse reissue apart from the below. It is therefore a good way to get hold of these if you didn't buy the CD.

For them to label some of these tracks wrong again and expect fans to download. For years we've been wanting a complete singles collection with all the correct 7" mixes. How hard is that?

It's the album version of Wishful Thinking that's on here. The single version lasts for 4:08.

What is this version of No Ordinary Lover? is different from the version on the Very Best Of CD.

It's funny that the most viewed China Crisis clip on Youtube is some kind of odd mix of Wishful Thinking. Any ideas where it came from? The uploader may have made it themselves I guess.

Thanks @humanracer much appreciated news, could I ask please that when the correct Andy Partridge version of Best Kept Secret is available that you notify this thread please? I don’t do social media so threads like this are a great source. Very frustrating that the wrong version was used.

The Demo Collection is excellent, well worth getting, there is more of a "pop" feeling to some of the tracks, highlights include "Black Man Ray", "When The Piper Calls", "Wall Of God", "The Bigger The Punch I'm Feeling", "Jon And Van" and "Red Letter Day".
