Interesting Box, I say "interesting" as most tracks are already on CD.

"An Eagle’s Teaching" is new on CD. It was recorded in the late 70s, but is placed on the third CD as it was a B-side on "Living in Sin" in 1983.
"Picture Phone (Remix)" is also new onto CD.
Newly remastered, although the 1989 CDs were mastered by Rupert Hine.

I also wonder whether it will be the original vinyl LP versions or Rupert's "original mixes" in some cases (like on the 1989 CDs).

I hope there will be an extensive Box set with his unreleased archive stuff too!

I just got this delivered the other day and just started listening this morning. At first listen there's a significant improvement in the sound quality. I'm particularly partial to the Waving Not Drowning album and that sounds much better.

These days I'm always on the watch for different versions replacing the original album mixes on reissues (like all the changes made to the Kate Bush box sets, e.g. the single mix of The Big Sky replacing the original). On the Hine box, Picture-Phone (from The Wildest Wish To Fly) is shown in the booklet as "Picture Phone (Remix)" - it's definitely a different version (:15 shorter than the original, for starters). Oddly, one of the bonus tracks is "Picture Phone (Remix)" and I'm pretty sure that's the original CD version! Just something to look out for.

Definitely highly recommended, especially if you don't own the originals.

Yes, the original LP version of Picture-Phone and the remix on the US/Canadian 1984 LP were confused/misplaced on this CD.
Otherwise the track listing was reverted to the original UK/European 1983 LP.
Regarding the bonus tracks on CD 3, they missed (?) the B-side to the German 1985 7" single Blue Flame - an instrumental remix/reworking of the A-side.
https://www.discogs.com/release/7133895-Rupert-Hine-Blue-Flame
Also, that same German 7" says the A-side is 4.32 long, whereas on all LPs/CDs it is 4:14 long.
It could be a typo. Or actually a longer version.
Finally, the original UK/European 1983 LP says "The Wildest Wish To Fly" is 7:19 long, whereas on all CDs it is 6:32 long.
Once again, it could be a typo, or actually a longer version.
The 1981 B-side version of House Arrest is also missing from this box.
Not to mention all of the Single Edits.

Here is the version of "The Wildest Wish To Fly" ripped from the A&M LP, it is really 7:19 long --

Thanks a lot Uvox! I wonder why they shortened it. It was first shortened for the 1984 US vinyl LP, possibly for vinyl LP space reasons,
but that same shorter version was also used for every CD edition. By mistake? Or did Rupert prefer the shorter version?
Also, there are the two tracks I Think a Man Will Hang Soon & Make a Wish which were slightly different on the original vinyl.
I also wonder, was "Scratching at Success" recorded during the Immunity sessions; I personally think so, even though it was
released in 1982.

As for the hope for an extensive box set with unreleased archive material, that would certainly be exciting for fans of Rupert Hine's work. It's always fascinating to hear previously unheard material from an artist's archives. Hopefully, such a box set will become a reality in the future. sell my house fast in Cincinnati
