Count me in! I was annoyed since I ordered the last 2xCD from an Amazon dealer who listed it some time in 2016 and just what did I receive? The 1986 single CD I already owned! And the dealer gave me grief about complaining to him!! I never got around to buying a copy since I always saw it in stock. Thank goodness that purchases of the other two Blow Monkeys DLX RMs went off smoothly. It wasn't until years later when I discovered that Cherry Red had begun issuing it as a CD-R instead! And I've not been able to confirm the several copies claiming to be original issues were in fact that [the Discogs dealers never answered my queries]. So yes, I'm very excited for this announcement!

I wonder if we'll get the fixed version of the Phil Harding Remix of Digging.. that initially had a slight dropout in the sound in the middle.

And the annoying thing is that mix was on Phil Harding – Club Mixes Of The 80s the year before Animal Magic was reissued and it sounds fine on there.

Finally the 10" remix of "The Man from Russia" gets released on CD

While i await my 4cd deluxe to arrive i sampled all the tracks on Spotify. It sounds pretty good overall but noticed some things. I'm guessing the cds will have the same..

2. Digging Your Scene (Longer Mix) vinyl rip
3. Man From Russia (Remix) vinyl rip
4. Sweet Murder (Single Version) vinyl rip
5. Digging Your Scene (Phil Harding Remix) appears to be the fixed version without the sound drop off that was on the Cherry Red cd.

I recorded from deezer to audition the tracks that you mention...and yep, tracks 2-4 sounds like vinyl rips to the end of the songs (but the noise is very low) track 1 have a drop off after the first chord. I don't hear the Phil Harding Remix of DYS yet.

Got my CDs today. Excellent packaging. Sound quality overall is quite good. The previously mentioned few errors are on disc too as expected. Don't Be Scared Of Mix (Mix) and Superfly (Long Version) are vinyl sourced as well.
