One of those box set CD collections that Cherry Red specialise in, this time featuring New Musik: https://www.cherryred.co.uk/product/new ... d-box-set/

Unfortunately, looking at the tracklist, it seems to be lacking some fairly obvious selections;
- The two bonus tracks from the ‘Anywhere’ cassette (‘And’ and ‘Under Attack’)
- Extended mix of ‘The Planet Doesn’t Mind’
- Single edits of ‘World Of Water’, ‘Sanctuary’, ‘All You Need Is Love’, ‘Warp’ (and perhaps for completeness the single edit of ‘They All Run After The Carving Knife’ as issued in Germany and the Netherlands).

Just wondering have the single edits of This World Of Water and Sanctuary ever been on any cd.

Not as far as I am aware - neither is particularly different - ‘This World Of Water’ just fades out earlier, while ‘Sanctuary’ just comes to a sudden halt with no fade.

I forgot to note that the single edit of ‘All You Need Is Love’ is also missing from the box set track listing. Again, it is not radically different - it lops off the extended intro sequence and just starts when the drums start.

Disappointed that the single edits are left out.
It will probably would have been the only chance to see these edits on cd.

Strange release. If it leaves so much stuff out - why bother? The very point of box sets is to include as much as possible - and it's not like NM have an abundance of stuff so the compilers must choose what to feature. The words "pointless" and "a waste" come to mind.

Album no. 3 is listed as "Warped" on the front of this box set.

I'll stick with my NL/JPN CDs.

A collection that has caught my eye, like others in the thread have said, why omit single versions??

Tempted with this set.
