It is baffling that they have chose to omit certain singles, you would have thought seen as this is a "super deluxe" release they would include all singles, what does strike me is how poor their singles have been since their split from Parlophone, aside from "Burning The Heather" which is omitted from the collection!! I will stick with PopArt.

its not surprising at all.

there's plenty that wouldn't count, early label songs, stuff that was UK only,
stuff where other peoples labels have the rights. one offs, etc.

is fine for what it is. no current fan needs another compilation.
it's mostly for new people and collectors.

I'll probably buy just the 3cd version. Still bummed that they chose to put London on the blue-ray instead of the cd.

At least in previous compilations they inroduced a few new tracks. But this looks good, even the cover this time .

Hmm, maybe in for the blu-ray, but let's see the price first .

Our local library has the 3CD set so I decided even though I have everything already, I'd give it a listen. Wow this is absolutely horribly mastered! I haven't even made it past the first disc, but all the high hats and other high end frequencies on nearly every track are completely wiped away, leaving the music sounding dull and lifeless. Glad I didn't spend any money on this, I'll stick with PopArt and Ultimate!

You can check the CD's out and take them home, the same as you would a book. I'd guess they have well over 10,000 titles. For a relatively small city here in Michigan, It's been a tremendous resource for many years. Of course, space is finite, so every year they have a CD sale/fundraiser where they phase out older discs or discs that haven't been checked out often in recent years to make room for newer selections.
