I have the two CD reissues from 2009 and bought all the singles at the time as well so i will be giving this a miss. They really are scraping the barrel including tracks from Level Best.

I have the two CD reissues from 2009 and bought all the singles at the time as well so i will be giving this a miss. They really are scraping the barrel including tracks from Level Best.

Have those too. But on the first pressing of the Guaranteed 2-CD set, track 2-8 and 2-9 were the same mix (The King Mix Radio Version) 4:07 although they have different names. This was corrected later on. The discs have the same cat. number but on the corrected version the text printing on the left and right side of the disc is darker like the colour of the Level 42 logo on top. On the first "wrong" release this colour is much lighter.

Unfortunately, all tracks on the four CDs that make up the Edsel remasters of 'Guaranteed' and 'Forever Now' are mastered incorrectly – the track fades are slightly clipped."

Yep i got the replacement disc at the time.To be honest i never noticed any track clipping.

This has just arrived: from the looks of it, this boxset is the same size etc. as the other two from 2021. Also. all the tracks are visible on the backside of the box as before. So looks good on the shelf. Have to look inside and listen to the music still ...
