A new Gene Loves Jezebel album has been announced for 01/12/2023.
It is entitled "Love Death Sorrow".
Since the Aston brothers split up, there have been 2 bands with the same name. Jay Aston has a rather flamboyant style and Michael Aston remains darker. Anyway, I'm speaking from my own experience, and in the end, the Gene Loves Jezebel spirit is always treated with respect and quality.
Jay's new Gene Loves Jezebel album is a combination of covers (The Cure, Magazine, The Only Ones, Edwyn Collins and Marianne Faithfull) and new material...
I'm delighted with the team of musicians he's working with on this album, as well as the production.
