Today marks the release of Anja Huwe's album Codes.
I never thought I'd hear from the singer of Xmal Deutschland and hear such a powerful sound.
It's a wonderful surprise, following on from Xmal Deutschland, even if the album leans more towards the first 2 albums than the more accessible Viva and Devils. (A CD reissue, please....).
Yes, the ghost of the band may seem a bit heavy to drag around, but I think the challenge has been brilliantly met.
