2026 Scritti Politti "Cupid & Psyche" Deluxe

The new 2026 deluxe was released Friday July 10. I have yet to receive my CD but am very excited to find oit the never-before-on-cd USA 12" promo mix of "Perfect Way" is one of the newly added bonus tracks. That, along with the rare 12" remix of "Lover To Fall" and the UK "Perfect Way (Version)" make this worth buying for me.
Surprised no one else has mentioned the 7+min mix of "Perfect Way" being included!

The Perfect Way (7" Version) looks like it's only available on the Japanese release.

Unfortunately its yet another disaster of a remaster, brickwalled to shit, dynamic range halved from it's initial release, truly terrible. It never ceases to amaze me that someone who is paid a fortune sits in a studio and destroys what is one of the best albums of the eighties, an absolute disgrace.

Just to add: My copy arrived from Japan last week. A bit dissapointed as no efford was put into the appearance. It's just a simple paper slipcase with black and white one page lyrics folded into 4. Lousy. Does not justify this iconic album.

It's missing The Word Girl/Flesh And Blood (Version) but that was available on the 3" cdsingle.
