Retro Remixed

Retro Remixed

Postby Analogue » Thu Jun 17, 2004 4:12 pm

I was interested in following up on the posting regarding the upcoming release, When In Rome Vs. Koishii & Hush 'The Promise' -

http://www.nwoutpost.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1534

Since I'm in the area, I decided the contact Hi-Bias directly by phone and inquire. Although they could not provide any specifics on the above-mentioned release, I was informed that a remix of 'The Promise' would definately be included on an upcoming compilation entitled 'Retro Remixed' slated for release on August 3rd. It will feature current remixes of classic songs. Given the quality of recent Hi-Bias releases, I'm certain that the calibre of these remixes will be much higher than any of the Cleopatra offerings. I'm definately looking forward to this compilation.

Cool! Nope, Retro:Active 3 is in the works. This was something else we wanted to try - hope you enjoy! If the response is good we will consider doing a follow up.

Hi Sean,

The answer is yes/no. We had a deal in place with a US label but that has been put in limbo as Tony Moran has released a COVER version of The Promise. Needless to say, its awful and the guys from When In Rome are not pleased. The guys, Koishii
