I've managed to track down most of the promo videos (thanks in large part to fellow NWO members), but I will definitely be buying that CD. I always wanted a Virgin era counterpart to "Assemblage" and now it looks like we're finally going to get it!

Is there a tentative release date for this? Early 2006, Mid 2006, Late 2006?!? This should be awesome!

Anyone got either of these yet? Can anyone tell if any of the songs on the CD were remastered from vinyl? I have the Assemblage reissue from a couple of years ago, and was disappointed that all bonus tracks were (cheaply) remastered from vinyl. This is BMG so I was quite surprised. I plan to get the DVD regardless, but the CD remains in question.

Don't buy the CD. It's a bust. All the version can be found on the remasters (reissue 2003). The tracklisting is false.

Check out www.nightporter.co.uk for comments regarding the CD.

It's a pity that the singles versions didn't turn out but I will probably get this as I need a good Japan "Best Of". Actually I prefer the long version of Night Porter. Wasn't that the single version of Night Porter on the "A Kick Up The Eighties: Vol.4" CD?

Virgin is re-issuing the albums at a lower price, so you might consider getting the albums instead. Tin Drum will be re-issued as a single disc set though, so this might affect your decision on getting the box now [:)].

All you really need is BMG's Assemblage, and Virgin's Gentlemen ... and Tin Drum to re-create your own Best of. I actually compiled my own Exorcising Ghosts remastered quite awhile back.
