Any of you guys succeeded removing scratches from your Vinyl Records? [;)] I guess, it is permanent right? I think there is no perfect Vinyl Collections that has no scratches.[8D] If ever there's an exception then I salute the collector[^]. Though my Pioneer turntable is a Direct Drive, it doesn't skips on slight scratches. But I think the deeper ones are the real problem.[:(]

Is there a way to remove scratches? Yeah, buy another copy.

I have a "special" turntable I use for smoothing out audible scratches. Just push the needle down over it, and, if necessary, go backwards and forwards over the trouble spot. Also works great at toning down crackle.

Of course, you'll want to reserve a turntable specifically for this purpose, because that sure as hell ain't good for the stylus.
