" 'A lot of people who come here are obsessed,' said Mr. Weisfeld"

Heheh.

"They’re not people looking for Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ or something by Billy Joel."

Well, I'm out.

Was last there in few years back, after having heard so much about it over the years. Honestly, for my tastes, it was a bit disappointing. Though the vinyl was actually better than the CD's, I only could find 3-4 things I wanted/needed.

On the other hand, Twist & Shout in Denver was a place I'd need to frequent monthly. Huge CD selection, new and used, and also a very large vinyl selection. It took us about 5 hours to go through there, and that was rushing to meet a deadline. Two of us walked out with maybe 60 CD's and 40 pieces of vinyl between us, sadly leaving things behind - we just ran out of money and time.

Princeton Record Exchange is great, I usually walk out of there with about 50-60 $1 records each time. Over the years I have picked up a lot of great records. Bands like the Kings, Jags, Horizontal Brian, Fabulous Poodles, etc. for only $1
