Pro-Ject Debut Carbon USB Turntable

Postby shortysgrowingabeard » Sat Jan 18, 2014 1:32 pm

I'm getting into vinyl and looking to spend about $500 on a turntable.
I've narrowed it down to the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon USB: ... -turntable

or the Rega RP1: ... godigital&.

Anyone have either one and care to share their opinion/experiences?

Also, are the 180g albums worth the extra cost for there improved sound quality or should I stick with standard albums?

It is said Project Debut Carbon is better than Rega 1 and 2. A better Rega than this Project only would be the 3, but the price is very much high.
