Modern Man - Conrete Scheme

Postby DavePlym » Sat May 14, 2005 8:06 pm

Does any one know anything about this, I got a copy yesterday. I haven't listened/cleaned/cd'd it yet, but one of the tracks is an early version of wastelands, a hit for Midge Ure, who produced this LP. Was this their only output? I know they were from scotland. Not listed on gemm at all. Did I get something deliciously desireable for my £1???
Please tell me, I must know before I press the button and destroy you all - ooops, got rather carried away there ;-)

I have a 10 track CD by Modern Man, but Wastelands is not on it. There obviously must be more by them out there, such as what you found.

Modern Man were a New Wave/Post-Punk band produced by Midge Ure. The core of the band were members Colin King and Danny Mitchell, who later became the group Messengers (who sang backup for Ultravox on two tours, and released several great synth-pop single
