The sheer significance of Devo is overwhelming. However, Oingo Boingo was well known on the East coast. Heck, they played at my college's spring fling in 1988. But the historical significance of a bunch of boys from Akron Ohio who vividly inspired coun

I must put a caveat to my vote for the spuds-I think Oingo Boingo-or Boingo-aged better-I really don't like later Devo and I personally think they peaked with "With Freedom of Choice"(kind of like how the Grateful Dead peaked in 1970 with the double threa
