Berserker, you just made my day! I've been wondering who that girl in the Vallhall Concert was. I figured she was too good and too comfortable to be just a simple back-up singer.

Another tidbit... the third original member of Bel Canto went on to release great ambient music as Biosphere.

"Drum Machines Have No Soul" - isn't that the point?

Here's <a href="http://s59.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1GHCTXZZ6LSNY2QQLHXT89JLIB" target=_blank>two singles from Biosphere</a>!

- Baby Interphase from their <a href="http://www.discogs.com/release/24454" target=_blank>first album</a>. The remix is better but it's only on vinyl.

SETI Project from their second album (but ripped from the mighty <a href="http://www.discogs.com/release/160023" target=_blank>R&S 5 compilation</a>).

Usual EAC LAME V2 quality rip.

Anneli Drecker the outstandig lead singer in Bel Canto, also worked with Røyksopp.
Here is a link for those of you reading norwegian:

She tels about her passion for 80's music like Talk Talk, Kissing the Pink, Orchestral Maneuvers In The Dark, Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft, Cabaret Voltaire, Swans, Coil and Psychic TV.
She tels that on her last solo album (Frolic), she has sampled a song by one of her favourite bands, Blancmange.

This is another Bel Canto song, off their Magic Box CD, which I think is no longer available.

Bel Canto - Rumour 1996
