Hey Blir,
I sent in my game.
I really didn't watch videos back then, so it was fun to see some of these clips.

PS I enjoy these games though I don't always play.
Please reconsider stopping them.

That one was tricky and I would not had gotten it had my college roommate not played it so damned much

Um, gosh, my apologies if I doubted this crowd. We actually ended up with a hell of a turnout and some late great scores. The average was an impressive 50.6pts or 67.5%! All videos were answered AND there was a tie for 1st place, with perfect scores prevented by videos guessed by many others. Just goes to show the diversity of knowledge here. Kudos to the masters:

1st Place Tie - 96% - Wozgo and Abacab66 (or should I say Abacab's wife [;)]). Pretty amazing, head & shoulders above the crowd.
3rd Place - 84% - BigBri - the undisputed champion of Lawn Guyland...and the eastern NWO???
4th Place - 77% - Jim2 - obviously this was music from before 1988. [}:)]
5th Place - 76% - Brambo - Yup, the kid from Holland usually kicks all y'all's butts.
HM1 - 73% - Cubby - doesn't say much, just knows much!
HM2 - 72% - Schwenko - doesn't say much...well, you know.

## - Time - Artist - Song - %
01 - 0:00 - Slow Children - President Am I - 54% (Pal Shazar was a BABE!)
02 - 0:15 - Thomas Dolby - Airhead - 76%
03 - 0:27 - The English Beat - I Confess - 89%
04 - 0:47 - Re-Flex - Politics of Dancing - 94%
05 - 1:05 - Yazoo - Only You - 94%
06 - 1:24 - Men Without Hats - Pop Goes the World - 100% (really? really?! 100%?!!)
07 - 1:42 - Devo - Secret Agent Man - 35% (tough one from their early days)
08 - 2:03 - New Order - Touched by the Hand of God - 74% (MTV wouldn't play NO mocking their bread-n-butter hair metal)
09 - 2:21 - ABC - Poison Arrow - 100%
10 - 2:37 - King - Won't You Hold My Hand - 70% (this guy really annoys me)
11 - 2:54 - The Damned - Alone Again Or - 69% (LOVE this vid!)
12 - 3:19 - CCCP - American Soviets - 33% (I even gave you a BIG clue!)
13 - 3:34 - Anything Box - Living in Oblivion - 44%
14 - 3:50 - Boomtown Rats - I Don't Like Mondays - 100% (I guess this was a pretty big crossover)
15 - 4:07 - Stephen Tin Tin Duffy - Kiss Me - 50% (it was an odd mix)
16 - 4:21 - Matt Bianco - Whose Side Are You On - 19% ("new wave" is a stretch but there's some fans here)
17 - 4:37 - Ocean Blue - Drifting Falling - 67%
18 - 4:56 - Siouxsie & Morrissey - Interlude - 11% (a REAL toughie - the champs got it and that's all, wow!)
19 - 5:15 - Sade - Your Love Is King - 87%
20 - 5:34 - Split Enz - Message to My Girl - 39% (trend - Blir has a soft spot for the Enz)
21 - 5:54 - Blondie - Rapture - 94%
22 - 6:11 - Sting - Englishman in New York - 56% (tricky for some, cake for others)
23 - 6:32 - Sparks - Tips for Teens - 67% (about all got the band, few got the song)
24 - 6:51 - Pet Shop Boys - Suburbia - 96% (damn what a great beat)
25 - 7:08 - ELO - Last Train to London - 69% (those same instruments could have made new wave, no?)

YouSendIt addresses are being emailed with some choice video cuts to all the players (expiring bandwidth issues prevent me from broaddcasting it). Thanks to all for participating.

Well cool, that was fun. Which one did you miss Abacab? And what happened to Aural Stim, I thought he had all but two figured out?

Sorry to resurrect a dead topic, but I wanted Blir to know that this NTT had a long-term effect on me. I heard The Ocean Blue's "Drifting Falling" on internet radio today. I instantly recognized it, and I said to myself, "damn, I wish I had recognized it when it counted."

Thanks once again for compiling these, and I hope another one is coming soon. [:)]
