Why SPAZ is an idiot...

Postby Spaz » Wed Jun 14, 2006 1:13 pm

Hello all.

Sorry for my 'lurking' status as of late (uh....the last year?)

Things can get overwhelming here at Spaz Central and when it does, I spend very little time on the 'net (apart from a qick glance at CNN headlines or to see if Britney has written anything new in her online journal).

I apologize.

Lots of music stuff has been happening, as you all know....

Those SPLIT ENZ remasters are awesome....the SAL SOLO is coming out (thanks to me!)...THE TWINS have a new 2CD comp of remixes and rarities...I've heard some SQUEEZE remasters are due this year (not sure if they are the next batch of albums or remasters of the remasters)...and so much more.

I was bummed. I had a great time in Vegas a few weeks back, exactly ONE WEEK before the NWO hook-up! I hadn't checked the board in awhile and finally checked it on Memorial Day and, lo and behold, there's the infamous NWO hook-up! Man, I would have LOVED to meet people. The ironic thing about it is that we were staying at Imperial Palace, a three minute walk from Margaritaville! Bad timing!

Well, gotta go. The warden says that it's time for the strip search and then back to the cell!

Spa!...gone but not forgotten. We've even seen some of your MFV series CDs floating around used record conventions. It's like "Cool, we 'know' these guys!"

You've seen the Obscure80s stuff floating around at record conventions? WOW! That's kinda cool.

I'm sure that they are copies of copies. I've only ever made 4 maximum and they all went to friends (or someone I at least knew pretty well). I'm sure they, in turn, made copies. And so on....

Unfortunately, someone has been making a few bucks on these things but I haven't.

Maybe I should 'master from vinyl' professionally? Or at least as a part time job?

Didn't seem like it. They had the original logo covers on them.
