Innocence in Danger

Anyone familiar with this band? Female singer. Released a five song EP on Epic in 1984. Eponymously named first track. Robin Clark credited with vocals.

I was looking at some old lists of songs I had written down and have been looking for the song you talk about, I don't recall much else, the only song I have is Violate the Video.

I have the EP and two 12" singles. "Violate the Video" is one; "Who Do You Think You Are" is the other. They were Steve Parry and Angela Bond from New York City. Parry's voice -- asuming he's the male vocalist -- bears more than a passing resemblance to Stan Ridgway's.

For the most part, the songwriting leaves something to be desired, but the track they named after themselves is pretty good. "Who Do You Think You Are" (or, as my copy is called, "Who Do Your Think You Are") is not good at all.

For a laugh, check out their Spanish versions. They sang them themselves!

I'll have to go trolling for the singles. I agree that the self-titled track is best. Nice driving rhythm to it. Did anyone in this band ever go on to any other new wave success?
