I saw Culture Club along with Human League and Howard Jones back in 1999. Great triple bill. Anyway, I had my binoculaurs even though I was in like, the ninth row. So - weird moment - Boy George looks straight in to my binoculaurs and gives me one big, exaggerated *wink* [:0] I nearly jumped out of my skin, lol [:D] My wife laughed her ass off!

I couldn't vote. I think they are both pretty cool in their own way. Boy George has more history though and more success. Pete and the gang made really awesome videos though. I can't decide.

I love Boy George. I have since I was 10 years old. I wish he didn't play for the "other team." [;)]

Dead or Alive was the worst live show I ever saw. They charged $20 (1987 dollars) for a club show (Malibu/Long Island), waited until 2 AM to go on (on a Thursday night), lip-synched for 20 minutes, then Pete Burns (who was wearing a thong exposing his boney ass) flipped us the bird a few times, and left to boos.

Worst part about it was I interned at WLIR-FM at the time and had to apologize to dozens of callers about the show at 9 AM Friday morning.

That said, though I voted for him, last year in response to the drug bust, I posted on another site that "I'd believe any story that concerns Boy George and any connotation of the word "blow."

Culture Club were more talented than Dead Or Alive, but Pete Burns has more verve than Boy George. Though my sympathy vote could've been spent on poor Mr. O'Dowd (he looked a sad sight cleaning up the streets of New York), Burns won me over when he was on last year's Celeb Big Brother by being truly absolutely fabulous.

Burns is just a total freak.

George is a little more subtle and IMHO more talented.

Although I dislike his attitude and what he's done with himself, Boy George had such a wonderful voice so I have to go with him. I also love Culture Club's singles.

I really liked a couple of Dead or Alive's singles, but I never liked You Spin Me Round & it was sooooo overplayed. Besides, anyone who takes a dump onstage, as part of their "show" loses my vote.

if i was actually going to hang out with one i would choose geaorge i think pete is way over the edge.

but pete is in my like top 5 voices of all time list.
not in order.
pete burns-nightmares/early dead alive period.
glan danzig-misfits period.
ain astbury-southern death cult early cult period.
adrian borland-the sound and solo.

yeah thats only 4, i have never finished my list its too hard.
but sun singles elvis, little richard, phil alvine of the blasters, ivan doruschuk in the early men w/o hats days are all contenders.
