Dumping the wholly original and brilliant "Fairytale Of New York" for a goth rendition of "Frosty The Snowman" makes me shiver with fear & loathing. Good god, what have we become?

So on that note Elizabeth, there is no Santa Claus. Or Frosty!

Siouxsie wins...

And here I was, seeing the original list, expecting either "Christmas Wrapping" by the Waitresses or better yet, "Fairytale of New York" by Pogues and Kirsty MacColl--just goes to show the interesting dynamics of the elimination game.

I was also sure those two songs ("Fairytale" and "Wrapping")would be the last ones too, as those are the only ones I was positive that everyone was familiar with. Very shocked that those got eliminated.

I apologize to you guys for taking out Wrapping but (sorry Wolvie) i heard this song. I downloaded it at www.shysurfer.com , the others, i do admit i havent heard them thats why i didnt vote them out.[:D].

I was also shocked when i didnt see One Christmas Catalogue by Captain Sensible on the list so i rooted for St. Etienne and Benoit's Christmas. [:D]

Merry Christmas Guys!!! [:D][:D]

Ditto iposse. I would also add "Do They Know Its Christmas?" by Band Aid.

So no "fairytale" ending to this thread [V]

Merry Christmas!

Don't be sorry about it - that's the nature of the game & that's what keeps us coming back to play.
