THE KORGIS...........NEW MUSIK

Postby georgie rockwood » Mon Feb 26, 2007 2:20 am

who out there really enjoys the korgis & new musik??????
i feel there are alot of similarities between the 2 bands, espcially
in production/vocals/arrangements etc......
the korgis were probaly the more successful cause they had a world wide smash with the song,,,,,"everybody's gotta learn sometime".
new musik just couldnt seem to get a hit record in their native england,so tony mansfield concetrated on producing other artists/bands after new musik,like......."a-ha",,"naked eyes",,"miguel bose",,to name a few.
i really enjoy both bands equally well.both bands had an influence on my music.
even with the american label releasing the album "sanctuary" in 1981 by new musik, which actually was an album with the best songs from their first 2 albums, new musik still couldnt find an audience with their sound or music, whereas the korgis ended up being more successful.
i really like both bands......
